Commitment to design quality spells success for Calbridge Homes
November 12, 2021
Calbridge Homes has always prided itself in the lifestyle-oriented designs of its homes. From its trendy townhomes, stylish starter and move-up homes, refined estate homes, even their popular luxury grand prize showhomes, one thing rings through – their abiding commitment to purposeful design and quality.
That commitment has garnered several industry awards, but more importantly, the trust of Calgary’s homebuyers, as Calbridge Homes had an incredible 2021. They are poised to carry this success through to next year as new showhomes open in some of the Calgary region’s best communities.
“2021 has been a very successful year for us so far!” says Edmundo Azuaje, Marketing & Communications Lead at Calbridge Homes and La Vita Land. “We are on path to have another amazing year in terms of sales, and it seems like we are not slowing down. Our entire team has done amazingly well at adapting and overcoming all the challenges that this past year has had.”
Calbridge’s single-family homes have particularly done very well, he adds. “Homebuyers are looking for that extra space since they are doing more at home than ever before.” Their latest single-family showhomes in the new communities of Sage Hill Crest in the northwest, and Alpine Park in the southwest are particularly designed to address the current needs of growing families.
“Our amazing Design team is always looking to tweak our models to align with market trends and adapting our floorplans to fit with our homebuyers’ needs,” he adds.
There is a lot of excitement for Calbridge Homes’ new models in Alpine Park. This new community in the much sought-after southwest promises a fresh take on suburban living and Calbridge unveiled a line of new models here that reflect the vision of this unique community.
They have models in three of the four home types available in Alpine Park (laned, court and vintage). “The showhomes in this community are completely new models that we are really excited about. They are different than any previous models, but they still keep the favorite features. Each showhome has its unique colour palette and they really give you a different feel when you walk into each one,” Azuaje says.
Laned homes, court homes and vintage homes in Alpine Park are porch-front homes that put a premium on their curbside presence.
Calbridge’s Forgetmenot (court) and Parkdale (vintage) models showcase what can be done with more square footage, while the Vista and Rawson are Calbridge’s laned showhomes that bring new meaning to the starter home. Showhomes will open in late November, but their sales centre is already entertaining visitors.
“Every one of our showhomes here is special, especially the Vista’s third floor loft – the views are stunning. Not only is this a unique feature exclusive to this model, but from its location you have mountain and downtown views. Definitely not something to miss when visiting the showhome parade,” Azuaje says.
Alpine Park boasts a quick drive to the mountains, and with access to the new ring road, commuting feels like a breeze. Calbridge’s laned homes in Alpine Park start from the $560,000s, courts are from the $590,000s, and vintage are from the $790,000s.
Sage Hill Crest in the amenity-rich section of the northwest just opened recently too. “Our showhome here boasts what we are known for– quality, efficiency, and value. All of this is carried into the fully developed secondary suite!”
The Arnica II showhome here showcases stunning features such as open-to-above detail in the staircase/kitchen area, spa-inspired ensuite, four upper floor bedrooms, and bonus room. “In this community we are also launching new models that are exclusive to Sage Hill Crest. These models have ample options to meet the needs of any homebuyer.”
In Sage Hill Crest, Calbridge offers Street Towns from the $430,000s, single car garage homes from the $530,000s, and double car garage homes from the $560,000s. “Sage Hill Crest is the last opportunity to build in this established community. With close proximity to restaurants, commercial spaces, schools and more!”
“Our goal throughout 2021, especially, has been to meet customers where they are at,” says Nicole Ziemann, Calbridge Homes Managing Director of Sales.
“We provide many tools and platforms like 3D Tours, video appointments, online bookings, and more to make buying a Calbridge Home from a distance as easy as possible. Buyers are more savvy than ever before and we believe buyers choose us because of our strong reputation which is demonstrated through the relationships we create with them both in-person and virtually.”
The volume of sales we have seen, especially this spring and this fall, has been great,” Ziemann says.” We didn’t know what to expect while facing the pandemic and we were pleasantly surprised by the interest and commitment from homebuyers.”
Calbridge Homes has showhomes across 11 communities in Calgary and the greater Calgary region, including in Fireside in Cochrane that is developed by La Vita Land, the land development arm of the Calbridge Group.
There is still a chance to win the $2.6 million grand prize showhome for Calgary Health Trust’s Hospital Home Lottery that Calbridge Homes built in Cranston’s Riverstone. Interested parties can view the exacting quality and craftsmanship in a video walkthrough at calgaryshopitalhomelottery.com where tickets to the lottery can still be bought until November 19.
