The pandemic and higher interest rates have caused a mass movement of people from other provinces into Alberta. While this has caused a hot and fast paced market in Calgary, in Edmonton we have been building a healthy inventory of Quick Possession and spec homes. This deliberate approach helps to cushion the market and provides prospective buyers with a diverse array of options, mitigating some of the challenges associated with a rapidly moving market.
