Daytona Homes continues to make waves in Calgary with its new home designs in more new communities. This Alberta-based homebuilder is already achieving milestones and quickly earning a reputation as a reliable, trustworthy homebuilder with an ever growing lineup of stylish, comfortable, and innovative homes.

“We had a record number of occupancies last year, and we are looking to set a new record this year,” says Tyler Warner, Sales & Marketing Manager at Daytona Homes Calgary. “We are excited that we will have our 500th occupancy here in Calgary this year. We are looking to continue our growth in Calgary and continue to establish ourselves as a trusted option for Calgary homebuyers.”

The ease that Daytona has cracked the Calgary market is a hallmark of the more than 30 years of experience in building homes.

Their home designs, in fact, have even caught the eye of the industry, with three of their current showhomes named as finalists at the recent 2024 BILD Calgary Region Awards. Their latest showhome in the lake community of Harmony in Springbank, Silverado II, is making waves, impressing visitors with its third floor loft design, and a completely functional and versatile floorplan throughout. And there’s more to come.

Expanding reach

With the homebuyers’ comfort still top of mind, Daytona Homes is offering more single-family options in Cochrane, Springbank and southeast Calgary, including several exceptionally crafted quick-possession homes, demand for which has surged with the rising number of newcomers flocking to the city.

Daytona Homes currently builds in the communities of Rangeview, and Waldenin southeast Calgary; Harmonyin Springbank; as well as Southbow Landing and Heartland, both in Cochrane.

Warner says they have been lucky to be building in some of the most forward-looking, well-regarded and award-winning communities. Harmony won Community of the Year – Calgary Region for the seventh time at the 2024 BILDCR Awards, and Daytona is offering front-drive garage homes here for the first time in the latest phase.

“Our newest showhome here is our Silverado II in Harmony featuring a third-storey loft with breathtaking mountain views as well as a main floor wine room, and grand kitchen.”

Rangeview by Section23 also just won the Community of the Year – City of Calgary award at the same gala celebrations. It is Calgary’s first garden-to-table community featuring its own greenhouse where neighbours can grown not just plants but relationships. They offer a range of stylish and affordable front attached garage homes here from the high $600,000s.

Waldenis a well-established community also in Calgary’s southeast that is entering its final phase. “And it is a beautiful phase with greenspace and walking paths as well as playgrounds and fields. Very established community, easy access to a ton of amenities that are already built. This is the last chance to own a new home in this community,” he adds. Daytona’s front-drive garage homes here start from the high $600,000s.

Daytona is also excited to offer an extensive selection of homes in Cochrane, one of the fastest growing municipalities in all of Canada, and they have homes available in its two standout communities of Heartland and Southbow Landing. They have move-in ready laned homes in Heartlandfrom the high $500,000s , and front-drive homes from the high $600,000s.

In Southbow Landing, they have the very-much in demand duplex homes with double attached garage models from the $600,000s, as well as front drive garage homes from $749.000.

Move-in Ready homes

The move-in ready home has been a specialty at Daytona Homes, allowing their buyers to move in to their dream home without the wait.

Move-in ready homes offer a fantastic opportunity for new homebuyers who are looking to move quickly without compromising on quality. These homes are already constructed or near completion, eliminating the lengthy wait times typically associated with building a custom home from scratch.

“Move-in ready homes, also called quick possession or spec homes, are always primarily the focus for us here in Calgary. We value putting together a quality home planned by seasoned sales professionals and interior designers choosing options, upgrades, and interior selections to keep up with today’s homebuyers and trends,” Warner says.

Daytona’s 30+ years of experience means their move-in ready homes have been designed with homebuyers lives top-of-mind, Warner says. “As buyer, you’re not sacrificing on buying a quick possession home - you’re getting incredible value and can trust that the home has been designed with your family’s comfort in mind.”

“We feel that especially right now with all of the volatility and uncertainty, it is nice to be able to select a home that has a price guarantee, and plan your life accordingly. Each of our communities has several homes under construction with varying sizes, price points, and timelines so our buyers can find something that works for them.”

He says that they typically have between 5-10 (move-in ready homes) on the go in each community in various stages of construction to give buyers the widest option for possession timelines.

Comfort is paramount

Through all this frenetic action, Daytona Homes’ commitment to providing comfort to its buyers remains paramount.

Finding comfort in our lives in is a goal everyone strives towards, but creating comfort through design takes skill and expertise, Warner says. “At Daytona Homes, the goal has always been focused on creating comfort not just in the home but in the entire process of buying and building a home.”

Not only does Daytona put a premium on comfort and style, but on savings as well. They are running the Daytona Days limited time promotion, which includes permanent LED lights included with a new home, $5,000 window blinds credit at Rock Celine Blinds, and more.

“We have longstanding relationships with our trades which allow us to work together with them through difficult times like the ones we are seeing now,” Warner says.

“We understand that affordability remains the top of peoples minds when looking for a new home. Understanding this, we look to put in the things that really matter on a day to day basis, while not overloading the homes with things that may look great, but add cost and hurt affordability.”

Eyes on the future

Warner says Daytona is looking to continue its growth in the Calgary and Cochrane market in 2025. “We have a new showhome opening in Heartland on May 31st, and a new showhome opening in Rangeview in September as well as new phases and lots in almost all of our communities.”

The homebuilder is also verymuch a part of the community they build in. “We will continue to be engaged in the communities and are excited to continue to support groups including the Mustard Seed, Kids Cancer Care, The Distress center, as well as within the communities we are building.”

Daytona Homes builds in these Calgary area communities:

  • Harmony in Springbank
