October 16, 2020
Davpart Inc. has released the Penthouses and Skytown Collection at The United Building in Toronto, one of North America’s tallest architectural heritage retention developments. The Penthouses and Skytowns atop the residential tower will rise from the historic Maclean Hunter building at 481 University Ave. The resulting mixed-use 52-storey highrise will feature the restored heritage structure with offices and retail at the base, and new residences above with interiors by Tomas Pearce Interior Design.
“The unique Penthouses and Skytown Collection reflects the majesty of this landmark building,” says Davpart President and CEO David Hofstedter. “The design team at Tomas Pearce has spent many hours creating these magnificent spaces. Beautifully proportioned, there’s grandeur even in the smallest detail. These residences are extravagant and luxurious, designed to provide comfort and happiness to even the most discerning of purchasers. This collection offers a grand destination for those who would like to live in a work of art on Toronto’s only ceremonial boulevard.”
“The penthouse level stands out from the rest of the building,” adds Melandro Quilatan, president and co-founder of Tomas Pearce Interior Design. “Even though that’s luxurious, the penthouse floor takes it up to a different level.”
Among the elegant appointments in the penthouses are eight-ft. entry doors, porcelain and pre-finished engineered wood plank flooring, and custom-designed kitchens with a 12-ft. cabinetry package and professional-grade Sub-Zero-Wolf appliance package. The Skytowns feature nine-ft. ceiling heights and chef-inspired kitchens with a Miele appliance package. Each skytown also comes with expansive windows and two spacious balconies for striking views.
Residents will also have direct access to the St. Patrick subway station and the 505 Dundas Streetcar just outside the door. The residence is close to the Financial District, world-class hospitals, University of Toronto, Queens Park and Eaton Centre.
The United Building Presentation Centre is now located at Baker Real Estate, 3080 Yonge St., Toronto. Open by appointment only.
