Chelsea Court townhomes bring affordability edge to Chestermere
May 16, 2025
Trico Homes prides itself on being a builder of “right-size” homes, so no matter if you’re a downsizer, a move-up buyer, or a first-time homebuyer, they will have the home to fit your needs and lifestyle. Now, they’ve introduced Chelsea Court, featuring their most affordable home model yet – and it is off to a fantastic start.
Chelsea Court Townhomes in Chestermere is Trico Homes’ most affordable product yet with prices starting in the low $400’s, and it is being snapped up quick. When it opened its first phase to the public on May 3, 30 per cent of its townhomes had already sold.
“Our price point is our biggest draw,” says Chelsea Court Area Sales Manager, Sam Bibanco. “We’re getting a lot of first-time homebuyers and people who are new to the city, even some downsizers are finding our townhomes very attractive.”
Chelsea Court offers row townhomes with tandem double garages. “We offer affordable two- and three-bedroom homes with attached single or tandem garages, with many options for personalization including entry level flex room with full bath. The convenience of having attached garages also cannot be emphasized more, as they bring so much convenience to townhome living.”
He adds that it is a particularly good time to buy, especially in Chestermere. “Real estate values are steadily increasing here and many people are looking for that first step into homeownership. With townhomes you get most of the benefits of a single-family home but with the comfort of a lock and leave lifestyle.
Chelsea Court is comprised of 83 townhomes spread in a total of 12 buildings (four buildings are already sold). “Our first homeowner takes possession mid-May.”
Affordability is key in Chelsea Court, but Bibanco says it doesn’t mean that they skimp on features. “We have three colour palettes both standard and upgrade that includes quartz counter tops in kitchens and bathrooms, stylish LVP flooring, and even zebra blinds are included in the price.
“Our interior fixtures were expertly selected by our award-winning Interior Design team to create beautiful, unique homes,” he says.
“Furthermore, our state-of-the-art party wall system ensures that sound transfer between homes is a thing of the past,” Bibanco adds.
Available is the Monarch model at 1,209 square-feet with three beds and two-and-a-half baths. It is stylishly functional with an open concept main floor that feels spacious and is perfect for entertaining. “Our kitchen certainly wins over a lot of buyers who can’t believe the spaciousness it offers. It’s great for entertaining for for quick meals with the family.”
The 1,179-square-foot Regent is a two-bedroom model with two-and -a-half baths. “Buyers love our Regent model. With dual-owner’s suites, buyers will truly appreciate the thoughtful spacious layout.”
Bibanco says they also offer entry level flex room options that include a bedroom with a full bath, or extra closet space, or even a home office. “It’s perfect for a home-based business,” he adds.
Chelsea Court offers a great low-maintenance lifestyle that allows residents to enjoy the home without having to worry about lawn work in the summer or snow shovelling in the winter.
It’s location on the west side of Chestermere, near the Calgary border is also beneficial. There’s good access to 17th Avenue SE and the massive East Hills commercial centre on the eastern boundary of Calgary. It’s also near the Stoney Trail ring road so access to almost any part of the city is a breeze. Chestermere itself is a haven for recreationally-minded individuals with lots of nature trails to enjoy, golf courses nearby and of course the lake and all it can offer,” Bibanco says.
Chelsea Court Townhomes does have condo fees starting from $250/unit month. “The big advantage to this is that the condo board will take care of the maintenance, including landscaping, snow and garbage removal and general common-area maintenance.”
Buyers get to pick from three stylish designer palettes and upgrade packages, allowing them to further refine the home’s interior, and making it a personalized, perfect mix of beautiful and comfortable.
There’s also a multitude of floorplan options, with one constant – Trico’s trademark care and quality, Bibanco says. “There are many things that go into the building of a home, and I trust Trico’s long reputation of high-quality homes with built in value.”
Trico is Western Canada’s only Certified B Corp homebuilder, which means the builder values balancing purpose and profit and using business as a force for good. “At Trico, decisions are assessed according to their impact on our workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment,” says Trico Homes Marketing Director, Glenda Schwartz.
Besides Chelsea Court, Trico Homes is currently selling two other townhome projects: Colours of Seton in the southeast, and West83 Townhomes in the southwest.
“We also have a few new townhome projects starting this year Verona North in NW Calgary, and Vantage Rise in Airdrie,” Schwartz adds.
