Like every Solterra home, Bordeaux’s finishings are a step above. “We sourced all our cabinetry and plumbing fixtures from Italy — everything is top of the line and not available anywhere else,” Sasha says. “Ensuites have heated floor and either dual vanities or an elongated sink.”

Often, she notes, it’s the little things that make a huge impact. “For example, all our kitchen islands have an extendable table built into them. So when you need extra seating because all your guests want to hang out with the chef, you just slide the table out and pull up a few more chairs. We’re also meticulous about placing air conditioning ducting in places where it won’t impact ceiling height — it just makes for a more comfortable home and a more sophisticated look.”
